AB Williams was born on Jul 3, 1946 in Senatobia, MS, to the late Mrs. Gracie Jackson Williams and Mr. Loyce Williams. At the young age of 13, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Paradise Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend C.G. Hughley, beginning a lifelong walk of faith and service.
AB later continues his spiritual journey at New Gilfield Missionary Baptist church, worshipping under the leadership of Reverend Bonner. His love for the Lord was evident in the way he lived—always giving, always caring and always willing to help.
A proud veteran, AB served his country with honor. Though he is often remembered for his service, those closest to him will remember the strength of his character, his generous heart, and his devotion to family. He was a loving husband, supportive father and a steadfast friend.
AB leaves behind his beloved wife, Wanda Williams; his children, Kevin Brigance, Anthony Williams and Dedric Williams. He is also survived by his sisters, Gracie Perry, Ruthie Davis, Earline Williams, Linda Faye Williams, Mildred Jackson, Vera Matthews and Sweetie B. Jackson. He now joins in eternal rest his siblings who preceded him in death, Earl Williams, Loyce Williams Jr., Debra Williams, Christine Mullins, Clarice Williams and Marilyn Wilson.
AB also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
His life well-lived, full of faither, family and quiet strength, though he will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in all of us who were fortunate enough to be touched by his presence.
