Alfreda Regina “Jean” Gregory
April 21, 1959 – October 5, 2025
Alfreda Regina Gregory, affectionately known as “Jean,” was a devoted follower of Christ whose life was marked by faith, love, and kindness. From a young age, she embraced her walk with the Lord, faithfully attending church and serving through prayer, teaching, and ministry. Her deep relationship with God was the foundation of her life, inspiring all who knew her with her resilience, grace, and unwavering spirit. Jean’s love for her family was immense, and she took great joy in caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and cherished sisters, inlaws and all her family, always reminding them of the power of prayer and the strength found in faith.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Westwood, 620 Parkrose Rd., Memphis, TN 38109. Pastor Cedric L. Taylor of Koinonia Christian Center will officiate. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Jean’s legacy of faith, compassion, and steadfast devotion to the Lord.
