Obituary for Angelo Jones
Angelo Jones, age 61, died November 15, 2020.

Angelo Jones was born on July 5, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Major Kelly and Lessie Mae Jones. Angelo is one of six children. Angelo accepted Christ at an early age. Angelo attended Hamilton High School and was a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist where he served on the Usher Board.
He went on to marry Greta Jones and was blessed with three beautiful children, Kenneshia (Bug), Angelo Jr (Foosie/Boo), and Janiece (Tipdo). He had an outpour of love for his children and grandchildren. He is affectionately known as Kelly to his friends and fellow contactors. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Angelo was a man of many talents and loved music, musical instruments, and dance. He was an entrepreneur and Founder of Earth Movers Land Development & Demolition. He had a great talent and love for operating heavy machinery and performing demolition and dirt work around the MidSouth, including demolition of MidSouth Fair buildings including Liberty Land, Dover Elevator, Movement of the Memphis Bel-Air plane, the 9 story Bell South building on Madison Ave., ground work for Taco Bell Inc., Memphis International Airport, demolition of residential areas, Riviera Hotel and other landmarks throughout the city of Memphis. Later in his career, he joined with his son, Angelo Jr. to start Faith Industries, Inc. Demolition. Angelo and Angelo, Jr. working together made 4 generations of demolition contractors in the family.
Angelo leaves to cherish his loving memories: Greta Jones; children, Kenneshia Jones, Angelo II (Iris) Jones and Janiece Tiffany Jones; grandchildren, Dana, Armani, Kristian, Angelo III, Siri and Saidi; two sisters, Cynthia Jones Sadler, Burma Jones; three brothers, Anthony Jones and Tyrone Jones.
Angelo was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Jones.
