Annie Petrowski, 86, died March 14, 2023
Annie Lou Petrowski was born on September 29, 1936 in Arkabutla, Mississippi to the late Shirley and Lawrence May. Annie was the eldest of seven children and grew up on the family farm in Mississippi where she helped her parents take care of the crops along with her younger siblings. She later moved her family to Memphis, TN where she lived the remainder of her years.
Annie was an active member of The Life Church and loved welcoming members and visitors to Sunday service. She enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities, fishing and regularly volunteered at church events.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret May, Lawrence Harvey May Jr, Mary Dale and Mandy May. She leaves behind her son, Joseph Petrowski; siblings, Shirley Hanna and Luther May; grandchildren, John (Mallely) Tackett and Charlee Goolsby; great grandchildren, Destiney Tackett, Dylan Tackett and Zachariah Goolsby; and many nieces and nephews.
