Betty Jane DeLeon, age 79, died June 12, 2021.
Betty Jane DeLeon 79 years young, was escorted to heaven by the angels of God on Saturday, June 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Carolyn Schnell, Geraldine Williams & George Arp II. She was born May 26, 1942 in Loudon,TN to Verna Louise Bailey. Betty was a very caring and generous soul, she helped many people in need throughout her life. Family and friends would gather to have a taste of her home cooking, especially her wonderful cakes and biscuits made from scratch! There will never be a cook to replace momma! She loved her crime shows & Ski ball! Let's not forget her feline favorites Wendy & Molly. Betty accepted Jesus as her savior in 2011 at Easthill Baptist Church in Bartlett,TN. Her legacy will live on through her children, Verna Garcia(Marin Garcia), Bobbie Tisdale, Caroline Wright, Lance Tisdale(Amanda), Dene Maria Ibarra(Alonso), James DeLeon & Joseph DeLeon; her grandchildren, Heather N. Schultz, Julia Nicole Wright, Elizabeth Diana Wright, Maria Belen Bermudez, Mason Dewayne & Morgan Skyler Tisdale and lastly-great granddaughter, Lila Jewel Hearn.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 18 from 12 – 1 p.m., services beginning at 1 p.m. all at Easthill Baptist Church, 7054 St. Elmo Rd. Bartlett, TN 38135
