Billy Perkins, 57, resident of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on February 27, 2017.
Billy was born August 10, 1959 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He is the son of Melba Perkins and Billie Joe Perkins; and the stepson of Liz Perkins.
Billy is survived by his soulmate, best friend, beloved wife, Gwen Perkins, son, Daniel Simmons; daughters, Crystal Simmons, Ashley Perkins; sisters, Patricia Ortiz, Wanda Ellington and Rita Fisher; sister-in-law, Lynn Bond; nephew/son, Scott Huggins, who he loved dearly; and six grandchildren, Natalie Perkins, Coby Day, Jose Perkins, Cory Day, Elena Perkins & Lil Kenny Goss.
Billy and Gwen celebrated their 36 year anniversary on February 26, 2017. Family and friends admired and looked up to his smile, humor and his love for life. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
