Blair Franchell Crumes was born on October 16, 1992 in Fountain Valley, California to the parents of Charles (Chuck) Crumes and Carol Ruffin. She was born at Talbert Hospital and weighed 8lbs 10 oz. As a baby she slept through the night, walked at nine months, easily potty trained, and never wet the bed. Blair had the biggest smile that would light up any room.
During her elementary, middle and high school years, Blair never got in trouble for any type of fighting, but she loved to talk. Her constant talking led to several calls from the school to her parents. She talked so much she was nicknamed “Jabba Jaw” by her grandma. Although she was a chatterbox, she had a personality that would draw people to her.
Blair was a very caring person; she would help take care of her baby brother, Ahmad. She was able to cook him food and make sure she kept him on task. As an older sister she would sometimes take pleasure in scaring her brother for fun. Blair was a super goofball, and her laugh was so contagious that no one could stay mad at her even if they tried. Blair was her own person and anyone who knew Blair knew that she was fearless. Blair was very loving and sweet, even in her death she showed kindness by donating her organs to those in need. Blair has left an imprint on many and she will be missed.
Blair leaves behind her daughter Rayna Crumes, her parents Charles Crumes and Carol Ruffin (John Ruffin), brothers Ahmad Martin, DeJohn Ruffin and Ezell Ruffin and a host of other family and friends.
