Bobby was the son of Wilbur and Nancy Hayes. He grew up in Somerville, TN and after high school moved to Memphis. He was employed by John Morrell Meat Packaging Company until their closing. After John Morrell he worked for Rivercrest Textile Co., Memphis City Schools, and formed a lawn service. Bobby was a master of the barbeque grill. He was known city wide for his tender and tasty ribs, shoulder, and anything that could be put on a grill. Of course the meat was not complete without “Big Bad Bob’s BBQ Sauce”. He loved to go to the lake and fish in his spare time.
