Brandy Jean Hunter age 48 went to be with the Lord April 05, 2023 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Visitation for Brandy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 11, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Home at 1638 Sycamore View. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park where she will be buried next to her brother Shawn Marbury.
Brandy was born in Memphis on Sept.10, 1974. She was the daughter of Bonnie Jean Hunter and the late Charles Brady Hunter. Brandy was very artistic and creative. It showed in her ability to make unique jewelry and as the saying goes “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” Brandy would find a way to repurpose many items and would restore them to something useful. She loved animals and because of that love she founded her own pet sitting service “Pet Nanny” for 20 years.
Brandy is preceded in death by her Father
Charles B. Hunter, a brother Shawn H. Marbury, grandmother’s Viola Milam Ellis, and Ruby Lawhead. She is survived by her children, Dalton Hunter McDonald and Kross Von Stough, Mother Bonnie J. Hunter, Sister’s Katherine Marbury Boren, Marsha Sims, Brother’s Jimmy M. Marbury, Charles Hunter Jr., Gary Hunter and Scott Hunter.
Her aunt Sheree and Carlton Towles, Paula and Tommy Joyner, Patty and Kevin Laury, Dean Weldon of Chicago, IL and Michael and Rosemary Lofton of Canandaugia, N. Y and several cousins.
