Obituaries

Caden Lee Freeman was born in Memphis, TN on June 28, 2020 to Thurstan Lee Freeman and Candice E. Mason.
Caden leaves no one to mourn his death, but to cherish his memory. Caden was loved by many: his Sister’s: Niara, De Asia, Aubrey, and the late Aiya; Brother’s: Terrion, Tavion, Dylon, and Devon; Great Grandmother’s: Loretta and Alice; Great Grandfather: Norman Sr.; Grandfather’s: Norman Jr. and the late Stanley; Grandmother’s: Tosha, the late Jeanette, Wilma, and Kaye; Uncle’s: Terrence, Norman III, Devron, and Stetson; Aunt: the late Terri; and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, greats, grands , and friends.
Caden is remembered by his “fighting spirit”. To dad he was “daddy’s little baby”, to mom he was “mommy’s chunky tunk”. Just to name a few names, but most of all he was all our little angel. As the Chaplain baptized Caden he took small little breaths in his father’s arm. Letting Thurstan know I can breathe. Shortly after, his mother held him and coddled Caden in her bosom, Caden’s face grew brighter as she prayed over him, “ Lord I thank you for the opportunity to call Caden my Son, forgive us for our sins, the one’s we may know and the one’s we may not know of, and let Caden’s spirit be free and take a seat with you.” As Candice prayed that prayer, one tear formed in Caden’s left eye and rolled down his cheek. At that very moment Candice and Thurstan knew Caden had gained his Salvation.
Fight on our little fighter and be with the Lord and take your seat. Caden will be forever missed and cherished. Although he had to leave us so soon, he will be held and comforted by God, his Grandmother Jeanette, Grandfather Stanley, Auntie Terri, and many other close ones’ we have lost. Until we hold you again, you are forever held in our hearts.
