Obituary for Carlos Ferguson
Carlos D. Ferguson, 44, died January 20, 2017. He was born September 8, 1972 to the parents of the late Fletcher and Louise Ferguson.
He attended East High School in Memphis, TN and later attended Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received his Associate’s degree in Accounting. He worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years and obtained over 15 state licenses. He also had his own clothing business named “SOLRAC”.
Carlos was an authentic, ambitious and well accomplished man, who was a “go-getter” and lived his life to the fullest, one who could light up any room with his radiant smile.
He departed this earthly life January 20, 2017, with his family by his side, at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown in Memphis, Tennessee.
He leaves to cherish his four children, Carlos Ferguson Jr., Ashley Ferguson, Andre Ferguson and Amber Ferguson, seven grandchildren; Carmelo Ferguson, Khia Ferguson, Kaysan Ferguson, Carlos Ferguson III, Zantarian Ferguson, Carma Ferguson and King Ferguson; two brothers, Vincent Ferguson and Fletcher Ferguson Jr. from Memphis, TN; five sisters, Rosie Mae Mace, from Utica MS., Betty Jean Cavadini, Linda Ferguson, Doris Jean (Pastor Donald) Chambers, and Angela (Joey) Flagg, all from Memphis, TN.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and Lawrence Miller, a dear friend who cared for him.
