Charlotte Wilson Hoyle, age 74, died March 3, 2025.
Charlotte Jo "Char" Wilson Hoyle retired teacher and community volunteer, passed away at the age of 74 on March 3, 2025. She was a longtime member of Idlewild Presbyterian Church, playing an instrumental part in the founding of CAFE Idlewild. She is survived by her children, daughter Josalyn "JoJo" and son Joseph "Cris", six sisters, many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of other family, friends, and loved ones. Charlotte was beloved in the Memphis community.
The celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 15 at Idlewild Presbyterian Church with quiet reflection time in the chapel beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donating to the scholarship fund to be established in her name.
