Choeun Phann, 67, died February 27, 2019.
Choeun Phann, 67, from Memphis, TN passed away on February 27th at 6:45am with her husband by her side. She leaves behind her husband Sok Soam, five sons, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The oldest Frank and Dawnie Phann of Jackson, Mississippi (Christian, Johnathan, and Teeda), Phil of Memphis, TN (Mapp and Dylan), Yon of Only, TN, Vibol and Maria of Memphis, TN (Laylah, Jaylan), and Born and Meredith of Jacksonville, FL (Samuel and Jordan). Choeun was born in Cambodia and came to America in 1985. Choeun worked many jobs to support her family, W.M. Barr being her longest tenure.
Choeun was a devoted wife, grandmother, and mother. She worked countless hours to provide for her family and loved spending quality time with them. Choeun also loved spending time visiting or hosting friends, tending to her garden with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday March 2nd beginning at 8am. Service will begin promptly at 9am and end at 10am. Any flowers may be sent to 1638 Sycamore View Rd. Memphis, TN 38134.
