Christopher, known as Chris L., accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age when his journey of faith began at Antioch Baptist Church in King George, VA over thirty years ago. While growing up in King George county, he was an active participant in the Antioch Baptist Church Sunday school program, the youth choir, and the Jr. usher board. Chris, attended King George county public schools during his upbringing and graduated with his class the year of 1999. While growing up, Chris also took part in many other experiences such as boy scouts, Believer's Because youth group, and being a volunteer for 4-H. He loved the outdoors, art, spending time with family and friends, and growing his locks. He leaves to cherish his memory and his daughter Jazmine Marie, his sister, Nicole E. Harry, Brother-in-law James Harry, nephews Kylic Williams, James T. & Elias Harry, nieces Laylah and Jaelle Harry, Sister Renae Peyton, nephews Tyler Harrison and Clifton Bumbery, Jr., nieces Jasmine Harrison & Aaliyah Peyton, and Brother Jonathan Peyton, sister-in-law Patricia Peyton, niece Destiney Batch, nephews Isiah & Daymian Peyton.
Chris was loved deeply by a host of others and will be tremendously missed. He often referred to and enjoyed spending time with his other close knit circle of family (Momma Kathy, Dad Buzz, brothers Eddie & Willie, sisters Beth, Amber & Nikiti Arbogast who affectionately called him, “Bubby”), (brother Tony White), and (brother Jeff Elam). He enjoyed his daughter, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, family gatherings, listening to music, creating art, free styling, taking road trips, and spending time with family and friends. Chris will be remembered for the kind, funny, laid back ray of sunshine that he was, the beautiful smile he kept, and the most enjoyable sense of humor that he had.
