On this day we thank God as we Celebrate the life of Evangelist Cora Mae Stinnette, who has blessed the hearts of many that knew her.
On October 10, 2022 the angels of Silence came and sealed the lips of Cora Stinnette.
Evangelist Cora Mae Stinnette was born December 20, 1937 to the late Phillip Hines, Sr. and Fannie Hines in Tchula, MS. She was educated in the Mississippi School System.
In Cora, there was life, enthusiasm and excitement. She had a gift for speaking and singing. As she grew up as a young child in the Baptist Church her voice for singing began there she had an “anointing voice”. The Spirit of the lord was always present in her singing. She could make the church rock with her voice,
Evangelist Stinnette in 1964 received Christ as her lord and savior at Powerhouse COGIC under the leadership of the late Elder Samuel Gardner. She also received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Souls were saved through her ministry. People were moved through her prayers. As she cried out day and night for deliverance and healing.
Evangelist Stinnette traveled in cities and states spreading the word of Jesus Christ.
Evangelist Stinnette later joined the Greater Harvest Ministries COGIC under the leadership of the late Bishop Lee Ward and Greater Harvest Family,
On September 6, 2001 Cora was united in Holy Matrimony to David E. Stinnette, the love of her life. The late Bishop Lee Ward performed their marriage ceremony.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her faithful and dedicated husband, Minister David Stinnette who she loved dearly. Two sisters, Lena Mae Vanderable and Precilla Buckler (Elijah Buckler) and one brother Sylvester Hines. A host of nieces, nephews and godchildren and friends.
