Obituary for Donald Declue

Donald John Declue, beloved husband, brother, and friend, was born on July 20, 1951, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to Lawrence G. Declue and Thelma L. Declue (née Boyer).

Donald is survived by his devoted wife, Hermita B. Declue (née Cainoy) of Cordova, Tennessee, and his brother, Ronald Declue of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diana Declue.

A proud and honorable man, Donald answered the call to serve his country in 1971, joining the United States Army. He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, where he served with distinction as a Medic—providing care, courage, and compassion in times of need. After years of dedicated service, he continued his military career with the Army National Guard, retiring in September 2004.

In addition to his military service, Donald built a successful career with UPS, where he was respected for his hard work and commitment before retiring.

Donald’s life was marked by service, dedication, and love for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
