Obituaries
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Donna Lamar, who departed this life peacefully at her home in Bartlett, Tennessee, on the morning of June 1, 2025. She had just celebrated her 79th birthday the day before, surrounded by love. At the time of her passing, her devoted husband, George Lamar, was holding her hand by her side.
Donna was a loving mother, a devoted wife, and a kind, gentle soul whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, George Lamar; daughter, Madelyn Altman, and son-in-law, Eric Altman; son, Stephen Lamar, and daughter-in-law, Marjorie Lamar; grandchildren, Caden, Nick, Sam, Leila, and Iyla; sister, Idylette Roberson, and brother-in-law, Tim Roberson, along with their children, Mark, Matt, and Max; and sister-in-law, Tonie Osborne, and brother-in-law, Ronnie Osborne.
Donna’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in her family and all those whose lives she graced. Her memory will be forever cherished.
A service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held on Friday, June 6th at:
