Obituary for Edward Sharp
Edward Sharp, 70, died April 6, 2019.
Edward Lee Sharp was born November 5, 1948 to the late Isom Sharp, Sr. and Elizabeth Sharp.
Edward accepted Christ as his Saviour at a very early age, he united with Mt. Herman M.B. Church. In his later years, he united with Christ Revival Temple Ministries, where he served until his health began to fail. He loved his church and singing with the male chorus.
Edward graduated from Woodstock High School, then later joined the Untied States Marines where he served in the Vietnam War. Edward was united in marriage with Helen Noel on January 31, 1975. Through this union, Mindy was born 8 years later. Edward was employed by the federal government until his retirement.
Edward departed from his earthly home on April 6, 2019 in order to enter into his eternal home with Jesus. Edward Lee was a gentle giant, he was warm, compassionate, loving, kind and had a servants heart. He was one of a kind. He will absolutely be missed.
He leaves to treasure his great memories, a loving wife, Helen Sharp; a daughter, Mindy James; son-in-law, Gregory James; four grandchildren, Gina, Gregory III, Gavin and Gabriel; three brothers, Frank Sharp (Maxine), Isom Sharp Jr. (Charlotte), and Christopher Sharp; three sisters, Eunice Johnson (Tommie), Fronnie Jones (Robert), and Janice Sharp; so many nephews, nieces; the loving Noel Family; best friend, Johnny Clark; and a host of other relatives and friends.
