Obituary for Gwendolyn Taylor White
Gwendolyn Taylor White, 55, died January 14, 2020.
Gwendolyn Taylor White was born March 30, 1964 to the late Henry and Rosie Taylor in Vance, MS.
She was united in holy matrimony to Willie C. Kerr on August 9, 1982, a marriage that lasted 10 years. From this union two beautiful daughters were born.
On November 18, 1998 she was happily united in marriage to Reginald A. White.
Gwendolyn was a very beautiful, outgoing, and loving person. She was know for her lively and down to earth personality and her love for helping others. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and godchildren. Gwendolyn’s love for all these things continued until her passing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald A. White and brother, Marvin Groves.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Jami (Samuel) Davis of Darling, MS and Jasmine (Kenyon) Baker of Memphis, TN; siblings, Jesse (Virginia) Brown, Beaver (Yvonne) Groves, Patricia (James) Buckley, Servelia (Michael) Smith, and Luvevenia (Ronald) Puryear; grandchildren, Perez, Jarod, Kameryn, Samuel III, Kenyon JR., Keniyah, and Abigail; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
