Hartwell Kelly Helm “Rusty,” age 73, of Memphis, TN, passed away April 19, 2023. Born May 26, 1949 in Memphis, TN. Son of the late Priscillia Myers Bryson and Alvin Bryson. He served in the US Army during The Vietnam War. After serving in the Army, Rusty later ran a successful plumbing business where he became known as a loyal and trustworthy businessman. Rusty always put his family first and always treated others with respect. He was loved and respected by many. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Helm, two sisters, Rhonda Adcock and Nina Hayes-Helm, his brother, Charles McPherson, and proceeded in death by his brother, Randy Helm. He leaves behind three sons, Matthew Kelly Helm, James Draffin (Lesley), Brandon Pierpoali and three daughters, Helen Pierpoali, Tammy Orr, and Casey De Los Santos (Alonzo), 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Friday, April 21, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Rd, Memphis, TN 38134 for visitation at 10am followed by Memorial service at 11am.
