James Burton Legg, 68, died December 18, 2018.
James Burton Legg died on December 18th, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 68. James is survived by his wife, Blanca Ramirez, his sons Zachary, Bobby, and Rowdy, and his grandchildren Jordan, Brianna, and Reagan. He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah Wooley and father Robert Legg.
James was born on October 2, 1950, a birthday he proudly shared with his sons Zach and Rowdy. After graduating from high school, James enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served from 1970 to 1976 as a Boatswain's Mate. After being honorably discharged from service, James settled back home in Memphis where he began his family.
A funeral is scheduled for December 28th at 9:30 AM at Serenity Funeral Home in Memphis, Tennessee with burial to follow at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate James's life.
