Obituary for Jason Samuel Simpson
Jason Samuel Simpson was born February 15th, 1989 in Memphis, TN to Greg and Laura Simpson. He passed away Monday September 14th, 2020 at 31 years old. He is survived by his parents, older siblings, Cody Randall Simpson, and Marshall Anthony Simpson, Danielle Simpson, mother of his children: Matthew (Matt) Thomas Caldwell, Jayson (Jay) James Simpson, Jaxen Emmitt Simpson. He is also survived by his daughter, Charlotte (Charli) Ruth Simpson, his grandmother, Dorothy Calabrese, uncle, Samuel Calabrese and wife Faith, uncle, Richard Simpson and wife, Pam.
He graduated from Brighton High School. He enjoyed playing sports with his friends during his adolescence and learning about cars. Fishing, hunting, and gaming became his pastimes in adulthood. He was known for his continual humor and readiness to help others. He tried his hand at many trade jobs including iron worker, cabling, roofing, general construction, insulation installation, security officer, and earned his CDL for truck driving.
Jason was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served six years in the Marines Reserve. He was most proud of graduating boot camp and earning his EGL(eagle, globe, and anchor).
