John Thomas Williamson was born September 24, 1957 in Somerville, Tn to the late Plez and Martha Williamson. He departed this life on July 23, 2021. John accepted Christ at Lane Avenue Baptist Church early in his life. He was educated in the Shelby County School System.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Plez and Martha Williamson; 2 sisters, Daisy Taylor and Ruby Nell Briggs; and a granddaughter. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: 3 Daughters, Tiffany Young and Shevelyn Buford of Memphis, Tn, and Roshundra W. (Terrance) Gipson of Minnesota and son DeAngelo (Shondon) Young of Memphis, Tn.; 8 grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Zula Franklin and Carolyn (Troy) Merritt and Brother Anthony Williamson all of Memphis, Tn. A devoted and special friend Linda Love and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
