Johnnie Clark was born on December 8, 1946, in Scotts, Mississippi, to Estella Clark. He passed away on November 11, 2025, at the Allen Morgan Hospice Facility.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Edwards Clark; his daughter, Teresee Lavon Clark; his second wife, Velma L. Jones; his brothers, Otis Clark and L.A. Clark; and his sisters, Bobby Gail Smith and Georgia Clark.
He leaves behind two children: Michael Augustus Clark and Tonya Clark-Peddigari, along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed because he was greatly loved.
In the later part of his life, he joined the Church of Temple of Deliverance located in Frayser, Memphis, Tennessee, where he became a deacon alongside his lifelong friend, Reverend Albert Clark.
