Obituary for Kartier Cross
Kartier Cross, age 1, died July 22, 2022.
Kartier Rashad Cross, was born on February 15,2021 to Terrence Roshun Scott Jr. and Deja Jena Cross. God called him home on July 22,2022 at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. He passed gently in the arms of Jesus. Kartier was an answer to the prayers of many, his big Kool aid, bubbly smile, his laugh, his presence on this earth touched many hearts. During his very brief visit he enjoyed music, dancing, toys, coco melon, his best friend, his paci, and let’s not forget his most favorite thing to do, which was, as he would say, “EAT EAT”. He loved snuggling in his favorite blanket, and being held close to his parents, and grandparents. Kartier had an impact on the hearts of all who met him, and he will be greatly missed by his family, and all those who met him. He leaves to cherish his everlasting memories: Deja Jena Cross (Mother), Terrence Roshun Scott Jr. (Father), his sisters Mah’Kenzie Cross, Ryleigh Cross, Trinidee Jones, Shanel Jones, Terreona Brown, and Andria Brown. His brother’s Kash Cross and Brycen Cross all of Memphis, TN. His paternal grandparents Terrence Scott Sr., and Renarda Smith, (Bobby Smith). His maternal grandparents Cassandra Cole Memphis, TN and James Cross Jr., Jackson, TN. His maternal great grandparents Phillip Cole Sr., and Byanker Cole. His paternal great grandparents James Jones Sr., and Joyce Jones. His Aunt Brittany Cole and four Uncles Darius McGoughy, Redarius Jones, Cameron Scott, and Bobby Smith Jr., and a host of other cousins and family members.

Kartier, our baby so respectful to only be one so intelligent so happy just an overall enjoyment. You may not have been the perfect baby, but you were perfect to us. We may not have been the perfect parents but we were perfect for you. We love you Karti forever and always.

We miss you so much. We wish we could’ve spent more time together. We miss your personality and all the play time we shared. We love you so very much Karti until we meet again.
