L. B’s life began on March 3, 1933 he was born to Mason King and Florence Williams in Holly Springs, Ms. He was faithful in serving the Lord and obeying his commandments standing firmly on those words by embedding within his soul mind and heart.
L.B. was a family oriented person, willing to help those in need the best way he knew how. He was a proud individual never wanting help from others, but was able to accept it when needed, always finding a way to pay back the kindness.
When meeting L.B. for the first time, he gave off the impression that he was mean, because he did not deal with strangers, once you got to know him and he of you things would become a match made in heaven.
L.B. lived a wonderful life to the fullest, treasuring every moment like there wasn’t another. He brought much happiness and joy to those who surrounded themselves around him, Although, this is a sad moment for us, without regrets, his life came to an end on May as this draws a sad moment for us, but without regrets his life come to an end on May 9, 2021, after a short battle with cancer.
He leaves in his memory a loving sister, Susie Applewhite of Waukegan, IL, and a host of family and friends.
