Laura was born September 1, 1979 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Douglas Montgomery and Jane Sanders Montgomery.
Laura was a graduate of Whitestation High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Memphis and a graduate of Global Ministries Bible Institute.
Laura was a member of the Zeta Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority of the University of Memphis.
A member of Church of the Harvest and an avid scrapbooker. She loved her family and church family and her pets
She is survived by her loving husband, Randall Phelps; mother, Jane Montgomery; brother, Matthew (Stacy) Montgomery all of Southaven, Mississippi; aunts, Betty (James) Weeks of Somerville, Tennessee and Paula (Rich) Kuebler of Houston, Texas and cousins.
