Obituary for Lavina Bounds
Lavina B. Bounds, born September 11, 1934, passed away on March 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vince and Minnie Bailey of Webster County, MS; her husband, Cecil C. “Pete” Bounds; two sons, Tony Bounds and David Bounds; and her brother, John Vince Bailey, Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Clay Bounds and Bill Bounds; grandchildren, Stacia, Kaley, Bailey, Toni, Andi, and Sydney; and two grandchildren, Ava and Logan. She is also survived by two sisters, Dora Ann Thomas and Lou Bailey wright; and one brother, Thomas Bailey.
A Memorial Service will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 8432 Germantown Rd., Olive Branch, MS on Tuesday, March 20. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m., and funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
The family wishes to recognize the faithful service of the care staff at Kennington Pointe Assisted Living and the caregivers provided by Crossroads Hospice. Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
