Lazarus Dewayne Johnson (affectionately) known as Wayne, was born on May 10th, 1979, in Memphis, TN, to Lee Johnson Sr. and Earnestine Porter.
He grew up under the leadership of Pastor J.W. Porter III at Mt. Zion M.B.C. Church, located in Robinsonville, MS. In 1988 Wayne decided to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior. Wayne attended Mitchell High School where he was an active member of the school’s football program. In his free time, he was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and artist.
He leaves the following to cherish his memories: His Grandfather, Nathaniel L. Holleman Sr.; His Grandmother – Dorothy Johnson; His Father, Lee Johnson Sr.; 1 – Daughter, Trinity Johnson; 3 – Sons, Cashaun Johnson, Tristan Johnson, Devin Johnson; 2 – Sisters, Tequila M. (Ke-Ke) Brown, Sarita Terry; 3 – Brothers, Lee Johnson Jr., Burlawn Street, Tony Street; 6 – Uncles, – Tim Holleman, Vincente’ Holleman, Earnest Smith, Nathaniel Holleman Jr., Willie Sharp, Edward Johnson; 6 Aunts – Kimberly Holleman, Bernice Holleman, Earlene Frazier, Shirley Walker, Denise Johnson, Pearlene Wallace; Friend, Tan-Tra “Tan” Terrell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dewayne was truly loved and will be missed by many.
