Lewis Lee Nash was born December 11, 1954 in Blackshear, Georgia to the late Leroy Nash and Willie B. Anderson Nash.
He grew up in Cary, Mississippi and moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1972. He met his wife Dorothy Jordan Nash, who preceded him in death,
shortly after. They married in 1989.
He began his career with the United States Postal Service Bulk Mail Center in 1972 as well. He was a devoted and faithful employee and
retired in October of 2014 after 42 years of service.
He lived his life to the fullest. He had a love for family and friends. He enjoyed watching all sports, but his favorite was the Los Angeles Lakers.
After work he would turn on his radio, turn up the music and cook our meals. He was always going for long walks as part of staying healthy.
He would watch any movie that starred Ice Cube and watched Wendy Williams everyday. When he wasn’t working or at home he’d be cruising the town
with his long time friend and partner in crime Joe Wooldridge.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Kimberly Nash Horton (DeRonald), Rozlynn Trotter Grandberry (Eric)
Three grandchildren Darian Trotter, Demetrius Bowen, and Nicholas Horton.
Four siblings Elder Leroy Nash (Vickie), Yvonne Woolfolk, Ruby Nash and Howard Nash.
And a host of nieces nephews relatives and friends
