Lucille Camberis, age 89, died May 16, 2021.
Lucille Marlyn Camberis concluded her earthly journey on May 16, 2021. Born July 11, 1921 in Baldwyn, Mississippi. Lucille loved the beauty, nature and culture of Arizona. She also enjoyed many years of love and friendship in her home in Memphis, TN where she resided at the time of her passing.
She was the daughter of William Henry Barnett and Flonnie Mae Hill. Lucille married Alexander Camberis March 31, 1960 and remained so until his passing. Mother to Gregory A. Camberis who also preceded her in death. Lucille was sister to William Draton Bryson, Virginia Madeiros and Bobbie Wilson.
Accomplished dog breeder and life-long gardener, perhaps there was no place that spoke to Lucille as much as her garden.
She had many close friends and loved ones. She enjoyed meeting new people and it seems she never met a stranger.
