Obituaries
March 9, 1935 – August 28, 2025
A hardworking and deeply blessed man, Manfred K. Filsinger passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025, without pain or suffering, surrounded by the grace he so fully embodied in life.
Born and raised in Germany, Manfred showed exceptional promise from an early age and pursued his passion for soccer as a semi-professional player. At the age of 21, he and his beloved wife Rosa courageously embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to the United States in search of opportunity and a better life. A few years later, with perseverance and determination, Manfred established his own business—one that remarkably continues to thrive more than 50 years later.
Never one to rest on his accomplishments, Manfred became a licensed pilot, purchased his own airplane, and soared across the country. His love for adventure didn’t stop there; soon after, he built a race car and competed in races across the nation.
Despite his many ventures and tireless work ethic, Manfred remained a deeply spiritual man. His faith was the cornerstone of his life—he read and studied the Scriptures daily, living each day in humble service to God, his family, and his community. He exemplified what it means to love one’s neighbor as oneself.
Manfred's legacy is not only in his accomplishments but in the love and devotion he poured into his family. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Rosa; his devoted son, Manfred (Cyrilla); his grandson, Manfred Tyson (Michelle); three beloved great-grandsons, Brayden, Miller, and Bennett; and one precious great-great-grandson, Jennings.
He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
