Mark Anthony Ross, affectionately known as “Big Tiny” “Big Mark” was born on December 22, 1964 in Holly Springs Mississippi to the late Henry and Beulah Ross. Mark was proceeded in death by his siblings, Marjorie Dean, James Ross “Brother” Percy Ross, and Cora Ross (Urma Jean).
Mark was raised in Chicago, IL in the Robert Taylor Homes projects. Mark was somewhat of a rascal getting into mischief with friends. He moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1992.
Mark had a niche for tools and fixing things too, He may tear up a lot trying to fix stuff (laugh) but he'd get a lot fixed too (laugh). He was kind and believed in telling you what was right no matter what, but he still loved you. Mark was known as a people person, and he loved reaching out to people to help them and he loved his family and he surely loved the Lord. He would give money and help in any way when he was able to, even up until he passed, he was so generous.
Although Mark did not have children of his own, he leaves to cherish his memory many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, Kenyatta, Yoell (Teroey) Tytra, Kimberly, Robert, Justin, Genida (Ne Ne) Corey, Heather, Naomi, Earl, Shawn) Great Nieces, Taylor (Big Head) Laniah Chambers (Peanut) King Graham (Big Daddy) and a host of other great nieces and nephews; and close friends that will continue to cherish his memory, Brenda Smith and Umjay (Robert).
