Oneather Lewis, 94, died November 3, 2016.
On Thursday morning, November 3, 2016, Oneather V. Lewis wrote the final chapter of her life and gently closed her book, took a flight beyond our reach where neither pain nor sorrow can affect her.
She was the Matriarch of her family. She leaves to cherish her memories and life legacy, a devoted daughter and son, Linda Lewis Hawkins and Tyrone Lewis (Bobbie); a special god-daughter Judy (Kenneth) Smith; god-son Dr. Darryl Whittington; three loving grandchildren, Michael, Brian (Rhonda), and Kimberly Hawkins; and five great grandchildren, Kendall, Kennedy, Tanner, Lauren, and Chayse Hawkins; three sisters-in-law, Alma Hassell, Jessie Anderson, and Christine Malone; a very special niece and caregiver Angela Sugars; a special friend & church buddy Willie Pearl Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
