Obituaries
Otis Jordan Davis was born on September 14, 1991, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Tammie Lorraine Davis and Maurice Bynum, Sr. On May 12, 2025, at the age of 33, Otis was called home to be with the Lord.
From an early age, Otis confessed his belief in Christ and was baptized as a child. He was a devoted member of Pentecostal M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Steven Turner, where he sang joyfully as part of the youth choir.
Otis was known for his caring spirit, his respectful demeanor, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. He brought joy and light to those around him with his kindness and love for life. A passionate fan of football, Otis proudly supported the Dallas Cowboys and also enjoyed watching professional wrestling, especially WWE.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Otis is survived by his beloved son, Truth Davis; his mother, Tammie Davis; his father, Maurice Bynum, Sr.; his brothers, Travis Starks, Maurice Martavious Bynum, Joshua Williams, Maurice Bynum Jr., and Brayden Harris; his sisters, Madison Greer and Asia Banks; his grandmother, Mildred Davis; and his godmother, Vera Cole.
Otis is preceded in death by his grandmother Nolia Bynum, his grandfathers Otis Jordan and Rev. Bennie Davis, and his great-grandmother Lula B. Jones.
Though he has departed this life, Otis’ memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
