Obituary for Pearlye Clark
Pearlye Clark, 68, was born in Oxford, Mississippi, to the late James Wadley and Rosie Wadley on February 28, 1953. She died on May 26,2021 in Southaven, Mississippi.
She grew up in Abbeville, MS, where she completed primary school. A student at Lafayette High School, she enjoyed singing in the choir, playing softball, running track, and was inducted into the National Honor Society. After graduation, she attended Northwest Community College.
She was a member of Smith Chapel Church in Abbeville, MS where she professed her love of Christ at an early age.
Pearlye enjoyed going to church, sewing, singing, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Wadley, Sr.,sister Edna Fisher, and brother James Wadley, Jr.
To cherish her memories, she leaves her mother, Rosie Wadley of Abbeville, MS. Her son, Shawn Wadley of Abbeville, MS. Three daughters, Shaneka (Wayne) Clark of Memphis, TN., Keesha Clark of Olive Branch, MS., and Teesha (Bryant) Kelow of Southaven, MS., She also leaves a bonus daughter, Sheila (Barry) Adkins of McCalla, AL. She leaves one sister, Linda (Neal) Thompson of Abbeville, MS and two brothers, Will (Tywanda) Wadley of Abbeville, MS., and Eric Buford of Abbeville, MS. She also leaves five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
