Ricky Earnest was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Leo Earnest and one brother, Terry Wayne Earnest. He is survived by his mother, Janie Davis of Moscow, TN; three sons, Richard Leo Earnest II, Adam Lynn Earnest, and Russell Eugene Earnest, all of Memphis, TN; one brother, Chris Mills of Brighton, TN; three sisters, Nanci Hughes of Horn Lake, MS, Betty Jean Walker of Germantown, TN, and Ann Dowdy of South Carolina; and three grandchildren, Ethan Earnest, Evan Earnest and Gracie Earnest, of all Memphis, TN.
