Mr. (Deacon) Robert Lee Jennings passed away peacefully in his wife’s arms at their home on May 23, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1941, at John Gaston Hospital in Memphis Tennessee to the late Mrs. Etol Jennings and the late Mr. Robert Wyatt Jennings.
He graduated from Washington High School. Robert later attended trade school in Memphis, Tn. He married Florence Lavern Ware on May 11, 1981, in Memphis, Tn. Robert was a man of peace, love and happiness. He truly loved the Lord and his family.
Robert worked at Buckeye (ADM) for 37 years. He served as a faithful member and Deacon at Faith Keepers Ministry, pastored by Bishop Gerald Coleman, Sr. until his health failed.
He leave to cherish his memories, his loving and faithful wife, Florence Jennings; one daughter, Ursula Ware; five grandchildren, Arion Ware, Aubrey Ware, Asia Ware, Andi Ware and Devonte Ware; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Boyd (Nathaniel),Joyce James (Hurley); a very special aunt, Gertrude Spiller, who raised him from age 3 until he became an adult; 5 sisters-in- law, Debra Finely, the late Bettye Clayton, Barbara Sims, the late Carrie Lee, Sandra Davis; 4 brothers -in – law, Gary Ware, the late Robert E. Ware, Jr. the late Larry Lee, Ronald Claxton (husband of the late Bettye Claxton) , so many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, 2 Loving God-Daughters, the late Jerri Flake, Michelle Blocker, one god –son, Holoman Flemming, and his late dog, Chico.
