Roy Adrain Hudson, Jr. was born on February 17, 1940 in Natchez, MS to Roy A Hudson Sr. and Alberta Burns White who preceded him in death. Roy entered into the holy bond of matrimony in 1962 with Bobbie Jean Martin Hudson, who preceded him in death. To this union a son, Dr. Roy A. Hudson, Ill was born. Roy earned his undergraduate degree from Tougaloo Southern Christian College and his Masters Degree from Memphis State University.
He had a rewarding career in Education as a Teacher, Administrator and in Labor Relations for the Memphis City Schools and MLGW. Roy and Bobbie were also active members of the St.
John Catholic Church for over 30 years, Active in St. John's Men's and Women's Club. They volunteered their services and participated in numerous fundraising events. Roy will be remembered by his family, friends and neighbors for his helpful, protective and intellectual nature. Roy Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted son, Roy Ill, a sister, Denise Saucier and a brother, Herman Hudson, nieces, nephews, in-laws and a host of friends.
Two brothers, Leon White, Jr and Donald White preceded Roy in death.
