Obituaries
Stacey Demond Phillips, known formally as KAHMAY, was born the morning of January 2nd, 1997, in good ole Memphis, TN. On June 15th, 2022, at the age of 25, he passed unexpectedly in the town he loved. He is now united with the love of his life, Cristal Rocha.
Stacey was the first born of Leann Phillips and is survived by Marty Phillips, Tucker Duckworth, and Tyler Duckworth. He graduated as a Wolf from Cordova High School, class of 2015. He was a father to his cat, Ason, a brother, son, uncle, nephew, grandson, best friend, and an amazing person. He had great amount of passion and put all his heart into anything he did. He lived life to the fullest and never regretted anything, with the ability to adjust himself to everyone.
He was a connectable person. Everyone who came in contact with him became a part of him. The essence of art is what he loved. He was able to incorporate art into who he was and into his everyday life. Similar to his physical appearance, he had a big heart and so much love to give, it was contagious enough to plant the interest of art into others almost like he was the seed that everyone needed. He was a giver. A giver in many ways more than one.
He never wanted anything in return other than the good feelings he knew he had in him. His pure, bright, cordial, loving energy is what brings us all here today in celebration of his life and to forever cherish his memory.
