Stephanie (Lee-Lee) Austin Murphy was born November 15, 1967, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Mr. Leroy Brookins Sr. and the late Mrs. Cora Bell Graham.
She was a graduate of the “1986” Class of East High School. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Phillip Murphy on August 8, 1997.
Stephanie departed this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, within the 10:00 a.m. hour in Memphis, Tennessee at the Methodist Hospital North after a long illness. She was surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Mr. Phillip Murphy Sr., one daughter, Elexis (Milton) Austin; four sons, Marcus Murphy, Phillip Murphy Jr., Charvis Austin, and Terrius Murphy; stepfather, James Graham Sr.; mother-in-law, Dorothy Dodson and father-in-law, Velvet Dodson; five sisters, Jennifer (Ronald) Stephenry, Wanda (Dexter) Austin, Marsha (Dennis) Turner, Kimberly (Derrick) Austin, and Covida Austin; five brothers, Herman Wayne Austin, Victor Hobson, James Austin, Clinton Austin Sr., and James Anthony Austin Jr.; a special sister, Mary L. Cooper; two brothers-in-law, David Murphy and Randy Murphy; one aunt, Ossie B. Austin; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
