Obituary for Susan G. Gordon
Susan Gayle Gordon, went to be with the Lord on May 17th, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born October 15, 1947 to Seymour and Charles Manship Gordon of Jackson, MS. She graduated from Murrah High School in Jackson, MS and The University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS. Susan was the first female bond trader in the Investment division of NBC bank. She moved to be a bond trader at Morgan Keegan & Co. where she remained until she started Pet Watch Inc. Susan’s humor and her ability to relate to pets endeared her to many. Susan’s signature pets were her beloved Scotties. Susan also taught aerobics and worked part-time at William Sonoma. We wish to thank the staff at Foxbridge and Methodist Hospice for their care of Susan.
There will be a service at Idlewild Presbyterian Church at 2pm on Tuesday May 24th. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alive Rescue Memphis, Methodist Hospice or Idlewild Presbyterian Church.
