Tony Curtis Hervey was born October 27, 1969 in Eupora, Mississippi to the late Watson Simmons and Mary Catherine McMullen. Tony acknowledged his faith in God at an early age at Red Hill M.B. Church in Eupora, Mississippi.
He received his high school diploma from Eupora High School in Eupora, Mississippi and continued his education on a college scholarship at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi where he played football for Ole Miss. Tony’s avocation and passion as a professional motor vehicle operator led him across the United States as drove for Greyhound, The United Postal Service, and Three Star.
Tony departed this life on May 29, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father Watson Simmons and brother Cedric Hervey. Tony and Patricia were united in holy matrimony on May 29, 2009 and blended their loving family. Tony Curtis Hervey leaves these loved ones to treasure his memories: his wife Patricia; two daughters Destiny Brownlow(Julian) and Gerianne Armstead of Memphis, TN; five sons Wesley Armstead (Chelsey) of Norfolk, VA, Carlos Hervey of Eupora, MS, Antonio M. Hervey, Brandon T. Hervey and Justin Hervey of Memphis, TN , a loving granddaughter Taylyn M. Armstead, a loving mother Mary C. McMullen of Eupora, MS, six sisters Angela Hervey (Larry) of Eupora, MS, Tangela Gunn (Don) of Starkville, MS, Shakassia McMullen of Starkville, MS, Sharron Simmons, Erica Simmons, Glenna Simmons, and Selena Simmons of Austin, TX; six brothers Brad Simmons (Bonita), Michael Simmons (Pamela), Ronald Simmons (Carrol) all of Eupora, MS, Anthony McMullen (Dana) of Cleveland, OH, Shaun McMullen (Alicia) Stockbridge, GA, Cedric Hervey (deceased) and a host of nieces, nephews , uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
