Tracy Townsend, 58, died August 9, 2022.

Tracy Townsend was born on December 29, 1963, to the late Troy Townsend and Febbie Townsend. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. Tracy worked as an expert plumber often nicknamed the "Snake Doctor." He utilized his skills in carpentry, painting, landscaping, building, and many unique home projects. He also worked several years for the City of Memphis. Tracy enjoyed the company of family and friends and was the life of the party. Recreational time was spent outdoors planting, fishing, hunting wild game, southern cooking, and fixing things. He always made phone wellness checks to distant relatives and friends to show his care and compassion. He leaves behind two daughters, Erica Townsend and Sherlisa Townsend, one brother, Troy Townsend, three sisters, Betty Swinney, who preceded him in death, Jennifer Givens, Jacqueline Turner: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
