Obituary for Velma Welch
Velma B. Welch was born on September 7, 1930 in Corbin KY and died at home in Bartlett TN on October 25 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband Buford Wallace Welch and 3 of her 4 siblings. She is survived by her daughter Susan Earle, son Timothy Welch, son-in-law Neil Earle, and younger brother Leamon Brummett.
For many years Mrs. Welch served as a deaconess in her church. She loved the Bible and trusted in Revelation 14:13 “And I heard a voice from heaven saying, ‘Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ‘Blessed indeed,’ says the Spirit, ‘that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!’”
