Obituaries
Upon the passing of the family’s matriarch, Virgie took on that role for many in the family. She seemed the most unlikely to hold that position at first, but she soon proved to everyone why she deserved that role. She was never one to mince words, always serving up the truth with laughs and colorful language no matter who was on the receiving end. If there was anything a family member needed or wanted, she would provide for them even during her final moments putting others first. She will be dearly missed, but her love and support lives on in the hearts of her loved ones, her memories forever embedded in their thoughts, and her resemblance can be seen in children and grandchildren for generations to come. For now, her family says goodbye and seeks comfort in knowing she will suffer no more.
She was preceded in death by her parents, youngest brother David Killion, and beloved nephew Michael Killion.
She lives on in the hearts and cherished memories her two daughters: Cindy Killion and Shantel (Carlos) Killion Daniels; eight grandchildren Denesha R. Killion, Marquze B. Killion, Marcus B. Callaway, Courtney S. Killion, Aerial Killion, Yasmine Mheirat, Chloe M. Daniels, and CarMichael A. Daniels; thirteen siblings: Lula Hill, James Killion, jr., Walter Killion, Evrone Hayes, Odell Killion, Leon Killion, Floyd Killion, Mary Killion, Georgia Harris, Ora Adams, Annette Gillard, Sheila Wilson, and Linda Brooks; Beloved Friend Samuel White; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
