Obituary for William Morrow
William Frank Morrow was born May 28, 1941, in Somerville, TN to the late Jessie Calvin and Bessie Lou Holt Morrow. William departed this life on Friday, February 10, 2017, at 12:08 a.m.
William gave his life to Christ at an early age, “Bo Bo” as he was affectionately known, had a giving heart of gold. He was a very selfless, giving man. He always put others first. He was one of seven children, in which five preceded him in death: three brothers, Early Morrow (Alice), Lewis Vincent “LV” Morrow (Rosie), and Clarence Morrow (Charlene); and two sisters, Pearl Conner (Eugene) and Jessie Louise Morrow Harris (Randolph). One sister, Jannie “Bee” Young (Harold), remains to cherish his memory, and a special sister-in-law, Veria Walker Shaw.
On December 28, 1969, he joined Virginia Walker Johnson to start the building of a family foundation with, until his untimely passing. He leaves three sons, Vincent Morrow (Sharon), Frank Morrow and Tavere Morrow; one daughter, LaTasha Morrow-Williams, and three daughters that he raised and loved as his own, Mary Walker, Katerica Henderson and Shuntay Walker; 23 grandchildren, who he loved with all his heart, but he cherished Ja’Niyah Henderson; and a host of great grandchildren.
He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. A special acknowledgement goes to his trusted friends and neighbors of Eastview Street.
