Willie Louis Smith, 55, died April 24, 2016.
Willie Louis Smith was born on August 12, 1960 to Miss Irma Lee Thornton and to the late Mr. Willie Gene Smith. He confessed his life to Christ a few years ago. Willie departed life on April 24, 2016. He was preceded in death by his brother, Franken Lee Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His mother, Irma Lee Thornton; two children, Willie Louis Smith, Jr. and Whitney Smith-Plummer; one granddaughter, Eeliyah Louise Smith; three sisters, Brenda Thornton, Elnora Smith and Bernita White (Charles); nieces, nephews, and one great nephew; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2016, with funeral services at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2016, both at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Road, Memphis, TN 38134
Burial will be at West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 2, 2016.
