Obituary for Wilma Cooper
Wilma Cooper, 84, died September 4, 2020.
Born to Robert and Addie Lee Walls in Byhalia, MS She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive MB Church. She married Noble Lee Cooper and to this union a daughter was born Barbara Cooper Wright. She also had a son Elvis Lee Cooper after relocating to Memphis, TN. Where she joined New Era Baptist Church. Wilma was a dedicated employee of Methodist Hospital for many years until she retired. She was proceeded in death by her parents Robert and Addie Lee Walls, her son Elvis Cooper, her brothers Curtis, Orva Lee Sr., and Charlie Walls and sister Christine Wooten.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Barbara Wright of Coldwater, MS One sister Charlene Simmons of Memphis, TN one brother Oscar Walls of Chicago, IL
Four grandchildren, Devin (Tarolyn) Cooper of Cordova, TN Deveda Lenoir of Memphis, TN Derita Phillips of Southaven, MS Desiree Sherrell of Houston, TX and 14 great grandchildren.
