Annie Lee Williams was born July 31, 1926 in Jonestown, Mississippi to the late Monroe and Annie Belle Washington.
She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and baptized at St. Luke Church in Jonestown, Mississippi.
Annie was united in holy matrimony on April 25, 1942 to Saul Williams, who precede her in death.
Once relocating to Memphis, TN she joined St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church located on McNeal, under the leadership of Reverend E.D. Kinnard. Later, the church was moved to North Hollywood where Reverend R.V. Kinnard became the pastor. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Mothers Board and Missionary Society. She remained a member until her death, serving under the leadership of Reverend Frederick Moore.
She was employed by Rollin Wilson Toy Factory, where she worked until they relocated to Corinth, MS.
Annie Lee departed her life on March 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Saul Williams Sr.; two sons, Roy Williams and Saul Williams Jr.; one daughter, Jacqueline Fort (Thomas).
She leaves to cherish precious memories of her life: her daughters, Ollie Williams (Otis), Vera Bailey (Leroy), Mary Hampton (James); one son, Calvin Williams (Pat), twelve grandchildren, Joana, Reginald, Chris, Tiffany, Calvin Jr., Ashley, Marico, Andrea, Saul III, Crystal, Joseph, Angelica; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
